The Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is a consequent of the further development of the classic exclusive 1,001-hp Bugatti Veyron 16.4, launched in 2005. O retorno do Bugatti Veyron Super Sport

Os fãs do Bugatti Veyron têm motivos para comemorar: o modelo, atuamente vendido apenas na versão Grand Sport (com teto removível), terá a versão Super Sport trazida de volta, com a carroceria conversível (configuração inédita até então). O modelo deverá vir com 1200 cavalos.

O flagra do site Infomotori revela que o novo modelo está bem perto da linha de produção. Preço? £ 2 000 000, o dobro do Veyron 16.4.

Que tal comprar um Bugatti Veyron por US$ 89 000?

Primeiramente, apesar das fotos mostrarem um carro idêntico ao Bugatti Veyron... não se trata de um Veyron legítimo. É uma réplica que utilizou-se da base do Mercury Cougar 2002 e construída por uma revendedora de Palm Bay (Florida, EUA).

Este projeto consumiu cerca de nove meses. Por dentro, revestimento e couro e estrutura tubular de aço, enquanto a parte de fora foi construída em fibra de vidro. O resultado final é bastante semelhante ao poderoso modelo de 1001 cavalos.

Mas você deve estar se perguntando: esta réplica também alcança os 400 km/h? Dificilmente, pois a motorização é a mesma do Cougar 2002, um 2.5 V6 de 170 cavalos.

E possui uma vantagem: como o motor da réplica é dianteiro, o espaço de trás permite acomodar mais duas pessoas. O modelo está à venda nos EUA por US$ 89 000.

A targa top version unveiled at Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance on 15 August 2008, with production beginning in spring 2009. The model has extensive reinforcements to compensate for the lack of standard roof, and small changes to the windshield and running lights. There are two removable tops, the second a temporary roof fashioned after an umbrella. The top speed with the hardtop in place is the same as the standard coupé version, but with the roof down is limited to 369 km/h (229 mph)—and to 130 km/h (81 mph) with the temporary soft roof. The first (chassis 001) was sold at auction, raising approximately US$900,000 for charity.

Bugatti Veyron L'Or Blanc de porcelana - isso mesmo!

O Bugatti Veyron, mesmo perto do fim de carreira, continua surpreendendo como se tivesse sido lançado hoje. Prova é este modelo, o L'Or Blanc ("ouro branco", em francês), construído em parceria com a Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur, e que possui porcelana na carroceria.

Este é o único exemplar no mundo, que custou ao dono € 1 650 000. A base foi o Veyron Grand Sport (semiconversível), única carroceria ainda em produção da linha Veyron.

Adeus, Bugatti Veyron 16.4

O automóvel de série mais rápido do mundo está se despedindo. Todos os 300 exemplares do Bugatti Veyron foram vendidas. Mas, calma! O megaesportivo continua disponível na versão Grand Sport, o "semi-conversível" do Salão de São Paulo de 2010.

Antes de ser lançado, o Veyron já era um carro mítico: seu projeto incluia um motor 8.0 W16 (antes, era planejado um W18) de 1001 cv de potência. Desde 2004 o modelo está em linha, mas ao longo de todo esse tempo apenas as 300 unidades planejadas foram vendidas - até por conta do seu preço de £ 1 000 000.

O comprador do derradeiro Veyron 16.4 mora na Europa e receberá o carrão em Outubro.

Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport roubado e ralado

Este Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Bleu Centennaire foi roubado junto com outros dois carrões: um BMW 750l e uma Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. O roubo começou na Suíça e, ao passar pela Alemanha, policiais começaram a persegui-los.

O Bugatti colidiu com algumas barreiras. O ladrão fugiu, mas foi pego depois. Dá para ver alguns riscos e arranhões que certamente não sairão por uma pechincha.
